Default Questions about Yank ST3500

Ok...I have a Midwest 3400 in my car right now, and the car is great on the street with the cam. But it doesn't 60ft worth a damn. My best with it is a 1.71. My friend was selling his Yank ST3500 for $375 so I had to buy it. Now, my question is, I know how it performs at the track...the guy had the same cam as me and with 3.73s and Patriot heads he went 1.57. Before the cam, it was 1.65 all day long. How loose is it on the street? I mean, when I first get in my WS6, the Midwest doesn't want to lock up for the first 5 minutes or so, but once it does, it is good until I turn the car off. Is that what I should expect from the ST3500? Or will it be loose all the time, where I will go up hills on the interstate and it will unlock and rev to 3200 at 65MPH? Thanks in advance!

It'll be more efficient than the midwest(better for highway racing and 1/4 mph) but i'm not sure about the 60'. Its a great converter but I say go with Derricks 4400 before i do The trans has to be up to a certain temp before the pcm will lock it up. On the way to work in the morning I can always predict when it'll lockup depending on the temp outside. lol
