Default Vig 4400 stall

Well i just got my car running again yesterday, and i have a T-rex cam, and a vig 4400 stall, and about every other mod, the problem is taht my stall isn't locking up, do you think it is something up with my tune, because it was locking up like when i first was messing with the tranny in hptuners, and then after i changed it back to the stock shift settings it wouldn't lock up, donno, im clueless.

i have heard that changing the converter from stock to a smaller once reduces rotating mass and causes false misfire codes. If you get misfire codes the converter will not lock. I know there is a fix for it and things you have to edit in the pcm to make it work but unsure how to do this. Sometimes i have the same problem and it wont lock(i have a midwest 3k with 2.0 str). Mine doesnt do it often so maybe im getting less misfire codes...
