Question Low/Reverse clutch stack 700R4

The manual call for the stack to measure 1.20 - 1.24 in; but the instructions that came with the parts from GM call for a height of 1.15 - 1.18 in. The set that I removed was about 1.16 in. Which is better?

Thanks.

My new stack was the same height as the old stack, which wasn't worn much anyway. Probably about 1.16 inches like yours. I went with that height and it worked fine.

I added selective plates to bring mine to the 1.20 - 1.24 spec!

Works good!

The first ones to go into the case.
Stock specs work ok.
Just don't use stock specs on the 3-4.

Thanks, I'm going to try the Z-Pack on the 3 - 4.
