whats going on??

ok OCCASIONALLY (2 times in the last 2 months) from a hwy roll the tranny has banged the rev limiter but when i go for a full run and every other time it works great could this be some sort of a tuneing issue or is my tranny heading south?

o yea its not like its toping out a gear and banging it it just seems like it you slam it down and its in netural for a seccond is this a 4-2 shift problem??

I don't remember exactly what it was (I"m not very tranny educated, but have read of this before) but my guess is that "tranny going south" will be the result of the diagnosis.

I agree that is the first signs of your tranny going bad.

ahhh! dont tell me this... just lie to me and say its just fine! well the verter is getting droped friday so thell havethe pan dropped hopefully anything shitty can be found then

ok its when im crusing in 4th and i slam it down say from a 70 roll the car seems to drop in to netural for a seccond before shifting ie: you slam it down it immediately bangs the revlimiter then it shifts! it does is infrequently ...

ALSO I HAD A TORQUE CONVERTER INSTALL PLANNED FOR FRIDAY SHOULD I HOLD OFF ON THIS .. COULD THIS DAMAGE THE CONVERTER IF THE TRANNY IS GOING?
