WOT 2nd to 3rd Shifts "Problem Fixed" 
Have a 98 Z28 Had problems with 2nd to 3rd shifting, would just smack the rev limiter about 5-7 times would have to let off then smack it again to shift. replaced VSS and fixed the problem. Read lots of post. Can't beleive $10 part and 2min install fixed the problem.

I have that same problem.. I smack the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift, i thought it was programming but it did through a VSS code a couple times. Looks like thats probably my problem also.
4l60e out of no where my car won't go from 2nd to 3rd gear it just reves up, but 1st and second shift perfect. my car is a 95 ta with 80,000 miles with tourque converter and tranny cooler.???????/

well, my intial problem was a bad 3-4 clutch pack. But now this vss things has me amazed...
My trans has issues shifting from t2nd to third and i do have speedo problems...gonna check this right away...
