Default auto transmission HELP

Just head Headers installed in my T/A While i was putting the car in park the car began to roll back. The car was in park but you can still push the car forward and backward like if it was in nuetral. Another thing i noticed was that when i shifted the car from park to reverse i didnt hear the clicking sounds it makes when it changes gears. all the other gears work fine. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be and is the car safe to drive without damaging the automatic transmission. Thanks

Sounds like something is off. There is a piece on the shifer line to adjust the length of the cable. That may need adusting. What I don't get is that all the forward gears are working normal? Have them check out the cable adjusment first.

Default problem solved

Y'all were right it was the shifter cable that was broke. The plastic piece that goes underneath where the rubber sleve was broken. It was replaced at no charge and now the gears are working properly Thanks for the Help
