Default Transmission?

Im Going With H/c , 3500 Stall Converter, Headers, Transgo Shift Kit, Tranny Cooler, An Ls6 Intake On My 98 Ta. What Else Should I Do To My Tranny To Make It Hold A Little Bit Longer. Thanks For The Info.

the transgo shift kit SAVED MY TRANSMISSION
yes, it cured delay/bang
when going from P or R to D and back
it cured the slow clutch wasting mush shifts

and the cooler is a great idea too!

most people call it a day after that,
me included.

but i guess to answer you question
you could also get a deep pan
maybe vented and aluminum..
hold extra 1-2 quarts
that would help decrease trans temp

i am thinking of running two trans coolers myself

i think also a corvette servo will help firm up shifts
and if you have upgraded band(s) you can run a *billet* servo
which, is even more firm

maybe run type "f" fluid for firmer shifts

maybe run royal purple..
i hear its good for like six months and the rest are for like 300 miles?
let someone else talk about trans fluid.

thats all i know!

Great info stoneoffire. Im debating puting one in as well.

Its it good for 20,000 miles are so?
