Default TCI 4400 convertor

I might be installing this convertor. I thought I heard somewhere that you have to enlarge one of the stock flexplate holes. Is this correct??

You have to do this with most TCI converters. It's no big deal. That verter is great. I've had mine a few months now.

how is your drivability? My car will soon become a non-daily driver, but I will still drive it on the street. Is 4400 too much? Oh, and ignore my mods in my sig, they are about to change. I'lll have AFR heads and a 227/230 cam with longtubes soon.

I've got 3.73 gears so the 4400 doesn't feel as loose, but I really enjoy driving the car. I drive it almost daily. I do drive it about 40 miles to the track on the weekends. I've got most bolt ons and an FM11 cam. It's really a matter of preference. I've had a 3200, 3500 and now the 4400. Wouldn't change it as of now. I'm still getting use to launching it on drag radials.

Thumbs up

I didn`t have to enlarge any holes. I like mine. I drove it 100+ miles to a track back when I still had 3.23`s no sweat. (Mostly highway) It get a little warm in traffic. Get a BIG cooler and you will be good.
