What do you mean by it doesn't hit as hard in second gear? Nothing will accelerate as hard in a higher gear.

Before the new stall when I hit second it would blow the tires off and get kinda side ways now I dont think it even spins the tires which i guess is a good thing
Just want to know if this is because the looser converter and its norm.

my friends did the same thing, the 2nd gear actually pulls a little less hard cuz the converter is looser

You could have a pretty big difference in stall ratio's. If I remember correctly, that's the most important thing for judging how hard she'll hit

A high stall will soften the shifts without my 3000 stall in my tranny the back of my truck would move sideways when it shifted and barked the tires and now it just chirps them a little and hauls ***. This is perfectly normal with a high stall. I thought the same thing as you but the guy that built my tranny said a high stall will soften the shifts quite a bit and there was nothing to worry about. I have over 5000 miles with the stall and built tranny setup and no problems even being reterded towing 6200#s and flooring all the way through second and damn near boiling the tranny 230* on a 60e isnt good.

When my tranny shifts into second, it's like being hit in the back by a 350lb Pro football player!!! I have a 3200 Vig...but I also have a tune and higher line pressures, which make a LOT of difference I guess.

If you are talking about the 1-2 shift at WOT, then the design of the torque converter & the diameter of the TC will have a big effect on this. The torque converter should multiply torque, and produce a somewhat smooth shift and not a "violent" shift. If the transmission shifts to hard, regardless of the torque converter, then the transmission (transmssion shift firmness) needs to be addressed first.

before the car had a 11 inch converter 2100-2700 stall it now has a 9 inch stall 3600+ before I switched the stall it shifted very hard and now it seems to just kinda slip into 2nd with only a slight chirp of the tires.
