4L60E shot!

So I brought my car in cause the transmsission was messed up (It cracked severely) so I need a new transmission! The rebuild is only gonna be about 900 for the stock rebuild. Any comments? I'll be getting a 3200 stall in a few weeks after I break this tranny in a little.

Yeah you can get a stage 4 tranny for $1450 and won't have to worry about it breaking. PM for details.

i'd look through some of the sponsors on this site or do a search for 4L60E on the internet to see who all builds beefed up trannys. you broke it once, you'll probably break it again. there are a lot of nuiances in the 700R4/4L60E that most standard tranny shops miss unless you are at a place that specializes in beefed up transmissions anyways. i know Seed Inc. sells beefed up ones. i don't recall who else does.

That's what I told my dad. I tried getting the Stage 4 transmission from FLP but he says "it's his money he decides for me.."

I pretty much told him he's wasting his money.
