Paging Patrick and others w/ Thruster Pro converter
TIA
Ryan
I don't know if this converter is really a 4200. Most likely it's a 4400/4600 judging by the 60' times. Mike rarely made any TP4000s...most of them were 4400s or 4600s. A 4200 would truly be an oddball.
If the converter stalled 4200 behind a heads cam LS1, it would stall close to that behind your semi-stock motor. Most heads cam cars make more power and torque above 4000 vs their stock counterparts but similar torque below 4000. Torque below 4,000 is what influences the stall the most. It may stall close to 4200 in your car too. Best bet is to have Mike inspect the converter before you install it. This way, he can honor the transferable warranty and check the true stall. If you want to upgrade to a higher stall (recommended), I'm sure he would make you a sweet deal to welcome you back into the family.

<strong>Thanks for the info Patrick. That's what I was looking for. I'll just stick with the TP4400. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> </strong><hr></blockquote>
