Default opinions on drivetrain trans/gear setup

ok, im putting in an auburn and a 3.73 in the car in a few days, it goin in behind a th350 with a manual valve body and about a 2200 stall converter. im runnin a tuned 'mild' cam puttin out around 350 at the flywheel. do you guys think that the three speed with that high of a gear will be rough on the street? she will never see more than 55mph on the road to town. gas mileage wont be a primary concern cause its not a true daily driver.

If you are not going above 55 mph, then there is nothing to worry about. As to rough on the street, the TH350 has a better 1-2 & 2-3 gear spread ratio. Whose TH350 manual valve body are you going to use? And what brand torque converter? Let me know?

im already driving the car with a TCI transmission and a Hughes racing converter, its just that a 350 trans dosent have the get up and go with a 2.73 rear that im running now.
