Y3000 and my 3:42's
Y3000 and my 3:42's Will this be a good combo for street and track. I drive on the street 90% of the time so I do not use or ever will use DR's. Just need some opions. Thanks <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0">

Re: Y3000 and my 3:42's Got a 98Z. Purchased the car used about 2 years ago and it already had the gears in it. Previous owner just got the whole rearend from a M6 and put it on the car.

If drag radials are definitely not in your future, a SY 3500 is the way to go. The 3500 stall and low STR will be a bit looser than the Y3000, but it is the easiest converter to launch hard on street tires.

I was looking at that converter also but I just cant seem to spend that much more for that converter.
