Default m6 to a4 conversion

i converted my car to auto and now its not startin, it'll crank over. I have a 98 camaro 6 speed and i put a 99 automatic wiring harness and computer and i had to change out the oil pressure sending unit and the coolant temp. sensor. theres a plug under the passenger side dash that doesnt plug in from the computer and also my mileage gauge isnt turning on. they told me id either have to change out my underdash harness to a 99 or find a 98 engine wiring harness and computer. Any info. will help

the 98 and 99 harness and computer are different. It sounds like you BCM is not connected if its the disconnected harness i'm thinking of. It controls vats which will keep the motor from firing unless everything is linked up properly.

The best solution would be to use a 98 auto harness and reflash the stock 98 computer to an automoatic file.
