Help with shifting problems Here's the story.
Completely stock tranny, stock tuning everything. My speedo was off for some reason, which I never knew.
Put in a vig3600, have a shop tune it. Drives fine at part throttle, shifts fine, but at WOT, it bangs rev limited shifting 1-2 and 2-3. Figure out based on the dyno, that my car has 4.10's. Re tune based on 4.10's. Shifting is still fine at part thottle, but still bangs limited shifting 1-2 and 2-3...Not AS bad, but still bad.
Now my tranny has taken some abuse...95k miles, 100 11 second passes etc...but never showed signs of problems before...
could this be a simple VSS issue? Maybe just tuning is off? id think it'd slip more not at wot if it was a bad tranny...
just throwing out all options before i drop big $ on a tranny...i figure ill change the VSS this weekend either way because its cheap...
