My kit instructions say to drill the third feed .093-.101 and second to .093 for race or high stall only.
IIRC second was already .093 in my car and it was stock. In fact they recommend drill all the holes to .093 (not every hole in the plate but certian ones)
I didn't like how my car shifted so I asked here and ProBuilt recommended to go bigger so I ended up with .110 second, .125 third, .125 fourth, and .110 band release IIRC. Wrote it down somewhere.
But what I've found doing 700R'4s (very similiar to 4L60E's) is that from the factory they give the 3-4 clutch clearance a wide range of adjustment.
Meaning your trans might be on the tight side and shift good, mine must be on the loose side because it shifted slow into third. So all transmissions are going to react different to a shift kit unless you build it from the inside out.
I've changed nothing but clutch clearance on 4L60's and 4L60E's and made shifts more firm.
I also learned it's real easy to make second shift firm.
Just some random thoughts.

Even in my 10 second vehicles, I use no more than one spacer in the 2nd gear accumulator, it is not necessary. Changing hole sizes, accumulator springs, will have a better affect on the part throttle, & full throttle shifts, than just adding more spacers.
