What atap parameters to check to see if my pcm is causing my converter to unlock?

Definitely check out misfire codes. Misfires will unlock the converter. Also check the MAP sensor readings. High readings are a sign of low vacuum, which the pcm will sense as high load and unlock your converter too.

If I am having a misfire, what will the code read?
And what would a high/low reading be for the MAP? I know how to get all these readings, but have no idea what the #'s mean, if they're good or bad. Someone needs to write a book "AutoTap for Dummies" <img src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" border="0" alt="[jester]" />

If you've read my other post then you know I have just started having problems with my Vig unlocking. P.I. has been reading the post and suggested that I check all my sensor readings to see if my cpu is causing the problem, and not the converter. Exactly what parameters should I look at and what should they read? Someone said a misfire could cause the converter to unlock. I don't have an SES light. What exactly should I look at to see if that is the cause? Or something else? I've only had atap for about a month, so I don't know what a lot of the parameters are for. I do know that all my temperture readings are where they should be, so it must be something else.
