Default 4l60e problem

I have just rebuilt my 4l60e, but the shifts are way too hard and tight at part throttle in D; it feels like the tranny is locking between shifts. But in OD, the hardness disappears a little. I've tried lowering all the pressure tables but to no avail. Is there one or many particular tables that i can "loosen" the shifts? I know that my rebuilder used a homemade servo in which he said is much better than the corvette. He fixed my original 2-3 flare problem, but now it seems he didn't want to see my face anymore and he made everything so f***** tight. The problem is at part throttle, but i am guessing a loss of quikness at full throttle. At the track the car is quicker in OD by a tenth than in D. ??????
