t56 to A4 swap questions

I have a 96 formula with a six speed and will be switching to a A4. Does anyone have any tech advise with doing this swap?? Does the trannys have different wiring harness and if so will i have to swap out the entire engine harness and all or is it like a mustang were the trans have its own harness that you unplug?

You'll need to swap the whole wiring harness cross member, best thing to do is a search, lots of good info. on here.

i did a search on multiple sites and came up empty.

But you are saying that i will have to swap the entire wiring harness engine and all?

Yeap, Sure will, Its not fun but a must, Then you will need to get a PCM for an A4 or get yours flashed to one that has the same operating system
