Default Turbo torque converter

Im lookin at torque converters for my 94 camaro z28. I am planning on turboing it within the next 6 months and am wondering if I needed to buy the Yank turbo torque converter. It is an extra $200 and i really dont want to waste my money on it if an ordinary torque converter will work just fine. Im not planning to run an insane amount of boost, maybe 12 psi max and only at the track.

What were you deciding on going with? I think the only reason they call it a turbo converter is because it has a multi disc setup which allows you to lock the converter (in 3rd gear) so you can get some extra top end... I would just go with a TCI or VIG or something simple if you dont plan on getting too serious...
