Default GV overdrive

Has any one used a gear venders overdrive with a th350 or th400 in thier IV Gen?

Just wondering about issues and cons they found. Thanks.

I talked with a guy with an 8 second 55 Bellare Using a TH400 with a GV.
He seemed satisfied with it. (clamed 25 MPG Highway )

But since they can handle like 1200HP in their weakest form, I think there will be few issues with them.

Any updates on the gear vendors? I'm also looking into a TH400 with their unit.

I was thinking about getting one, and did a bit of searching and saw a thread about a guy that claimed his GV overdrive only dropped his rpms by 80. Not wroth over $1000 if you ask me..Then again, I haven't tryed it first hand so I cant realy say.
