Default Need help choosing a TH350

Here's what I'm wanting-
Fully automatic (I'm tired of shifting )
9" tailshaft
I want to run a switch operated lock-up converter

I've heard that not all TH350's will work with a lock-up converter. Something to do with the input shaft beaing different. If not can they be made to accept a lock-up converter cheap? Also, if I find one with a 6" tailshaft, can I have a 9" swapped in so I can use my stock driveshaft? Thanks for any help.

you need a TH350C. its the lock up version that was available on some vans and perhaps trucks.

any decent local tranny shop could build the tranny you want to your specs. just call and talk to them. in the three speed game you don't necessarily need a big name $$
