Default Anyones car shift like this? Cant figure it out!

Sometimes when I go WOT from a roll or stop it shoots up to where it wants to shift at (6700 or so) and then you can feel the tranny like disengage and the rpms shoot up another 300-400 RPMS before it finally shifts to the next gear(lag shift is NOT firm). Items that I have changed it to decrease shift times to around .200 and also some tranny pressure/motor increases.

Otherwise car shift nice and firm(short) during 98% of normal driving.

Thanks,

Post your Force Motor Pressure table settings, it could be that. Also, does it do this on one specific gear shift or all?

I will post the force motor table when I get home. I remember changing these values according to another post to firm up the shifts.

I'd increase the pressure on the shift modifier tables.
And decrease the shift time where it's lagging.

To properly fix it you should go into the trans to decrease clutch clearance and get a transgo kit properly set up to provide more fluid FLOW and PRESSURE to the clutches and band. Tuning cannot increase fluid flow. It can shove more in by increasing the pressure........
