Default 1-2 shift knocking help

Hi I got a problem with my 95 lt1 trans am with auto trann. When it shifts at 50kph it makes this clunk noise and I can feel it right under my arm when I have my arm resting on the center counsole. If I go really smooth with the throttle it seems to go away. But once I push on the gas harder and the motor revvs higher before it shifts it clunks, and it some cases it sounds as if the back tires are skipping off the ground when it shifts, and get that banging under my arm on the center armrest, and a grrrr noise.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

your tranny mount is broken...it is easy to change and a very common problem

okay thanks. Is it suppose to clunk while driving or does the broken trans mount just clunk when it shifts. If on hard acceeleration the second the tranny shifts it clunks a couple times then goes away.

Thanks

okay I just replaced the trans mount in the auto tranny but the dam noise or clunk bang is still there, the only way it does'nt do if I drive like a old bubba and go easy but once it shifts about 3000 rpm bang. It seems to do it really bad whne cold but not so much when warm.

Thanks
