Default Turbo 400 or Other Trans

Looking into buying a car listed on the forum. The car currently has 6 speed, 12 bolt, 4.11, cage, 422 stroker putting down 533rwhp. I want to go to an auto trans. The car will be a full time drag car, never seeing the street. Please give recomendations on transmission choice, stall, cost. Your help is much appreciated.

A TH-400 is they way to go in my opinion call up rossler at rosslertrans.com and ask for carl he will get you set up with a very nice transmission for cheap. I just picked one up for $1295 for the tranny with a reverse valvebody and a trans break tell him Joe sent you. Good luck (The tranny is good up to about 950 hp)
