opinions?
my friend has a 01 z a4, hes got longtubes, cut-out, intake, and 373's... he's been looking into gettin a cam and i think he's settled with the f13. i was telling him that i thought a 3800+ stall would be his best bet for this particular cam imo, not too small and leaves him some room to grow if he decides to go bigger with a cam later on... i know a bunch of guys just go with the 3500+, but ive also seen a few 3200+ and 4000+... just wanted to get a few opinions...
i was also curious on the difference between the 112 and 114 lsa.. this is for a daily driver, he wants good power, driveability, and gas mileage.. but just wondering the difference between the two lsa's, if they have ne consequece on ne of the above.
i think hes goin with crane dual valve springs, rods, seats and retainers as well.. what are some of your opinions and suggestions, thanks

what size is best for him depends on his driving style and goals. About the only true rule is that less than 3000 true stall speed is a waste of money in an LSx Fbody or vette. 2600 and lower stalls are worthless. Yank made a TT2800 3.0 that was great for 2.73s because the high STR helped overcome its low stall speed and the Vig 2800 is actually a true stall of about 3300.
