Default Need help!!!

my battery died and I replaced it the next day.
My shift points were set at 6500 and rev limiter was at 6700.

after i replaced the battery i am now bouncing off the rev limiter at about 6200 at wot.

anyone have any ideas???

A battery dying/replacement should have nothign to do with the rev limiter change.

I'd get someone to scan it to see what your rev limiter is really set at. Stock is 6200, but it shouldn't just magically reset itself, and yoru shift points shouln't change without reprogramming.

Watch your Tach to see if it really is hitting @ 6200 or 6500.

Could be a transmission problem, but that would show by the fact that it's slipping and going past what you think the shift points are supposed to be.

it's 6200
it hits the limiter in every geat not just firstso I know the trans isnt slipping

MAYBE the shift adaptive learning reset. I dunno if that is possible or would cause your prob but maybe it could. Otherwise, no idea what would cause that type deal.
