3.23 --> 3.73 gears with Y3000 ?

3.23 --> 3.73 gears with Y3000 ? Sup everybody, have a question :
I have the stock 3.23 rear end and a Y3000 (see sig for other bolt-ons). I am getting the rear torn apart to fix the clunking and am thinking of throwing in 3.73 gears while it's apart.
Thoughts/comments ?
What would the freeway RPMs at 80 MPH ?
I have HPP3 to change speedo with. Anything else ?

Re: 3.23 --> 3.73 gears with Y3000 ? You'll go about a tenth faster in the 1/4 mile with 3.73 gears and a Yank 3000. Your gas mileage will drop about 2 mpgs on the highway and your cruise rpms will be about 2800-2900 at 80 mph.
