Default I Need Overdrive

Does anyone make an overdrive for a TH400 that will fit under my 02' T/A?? Don't someone make a gear vendor overdrive or something?

Is it cheaper than the 4L60E built? How much power will the gear vendor hold?

new ones are around 3k and are rated to hold 1,200 hp. A built 4l60e can be had for 2,000 or less and can hold 600rwhp. Check out flp,dr evil, rossler, rock on, etc. There are a few turbo guys on here that have over 600rwhp and the 4l60e is holding, for now im guessing..

best of both worlds would be a built 4l80e in my opinion.

I put a gearvendors behind a 4L60e to get an A5.
I drive my car more like a GT than a drag car.
After putting in the 3.73s the car felt like it needed another gear on the highway.
The GV .78 ratio makes 3.73 into 2.91.
With 255-60-16 tires I'm turning 2200 rpm at 80 mph.
It is expensive at 2500.00 plus instalation including a shortened driveshaft and torque arm but I'm very pleased with mine as a double OD.

Actually you have an A8. Have you ever shifted in sequence?
