need help.4th gear acting weird
need help.4th gear acting weird hey guys i have a 98 ss w/ an a4.i have this problem maybe u guys can help me out.lets say im on the highway in 4th gear cruising and i give it 15% gas tp pass a car it will slip to like 3500 rpms and then catch?it doesnt slip 100% or i dont even know if its actualy slipping or it the lock up swtich or sensor w/e the 4l60e has or if the t-verter is bad i really need help.then theres also time when i've been crusing and it just alone will go to 4000rpms and i have to give it gas so it engages again.ialready change the filter /fluid 2 days ago thinking it could have been a dirty filter but i guess that wasnt it help guys??
Most of the time when auto-overdrive tranny starts to go it will loose overdrive and then drive- sometimes it gives warning signs
