4l60e s10 tranny lines I have a 4l60e tranny in a 2000 s10 stock and the tranny line is leaking bad at the tranny itself. Has anybody had any promblems with this before? I am having problems getting the line off the tranny and am wondering what the platic piece it on the outside of the fitting for and is there any tips on getting the line off so i can see why it is leaking.? thanks josh
The plastic is just a retainer. There is an o-ring inside of the fitting. It just sounds like you need to order the cooler fitting on the trans. That should stop the leak.
