Car "hanging" on 2-3 shift
This is on the nitrous only. What happens is the car raps out the rpms, doesn't tag the limiter but it just seems like its never going to shift. The 1-2 shifts fairly well, and shifts right on the shift point I have set. But the 2-3 gets to about where I have the shift point, and seems like it just doesn't want to shift, and then finally shifts, and when it hits 3rd, takes off real well again.
I wish I had exact rpms this is happening at, but I hardly ever take my eyes off the track, and by the time I am thinking this thing is never gonna shift, and look down, it shifts. But i would assume this is in the 5600-6000 rpm range. I have the shift point set at 5875 (or whatever is close to that using an HPP+).
Should i bring the shift point down?? or should i start using a 5800rpm MSD cut-off pill, instead of the 6K i have now?? is the nitrous making the shift point take longer??
