How high should a stock converter be able to stall? Im thinking something is wrong with mine, the most i can get out of it is about 1100rpm and thats pushing it. At the track i launch at 1000rpm.

Most of my friends can get 1500+ out of theres, my tires slowly start to spin at 1100rpm.

depends on how hard you hold the brake. i could hold mine to 2,000 rpm if i had my foot PLANTED on the brake pedal.

bitches you need a new converter then, go w/ the 3500 rpm type of converter, launches you at your power band.

i can stall to 1800rpm but launch at 1400rpm to get the best times (so far)

Im getting a new one here in a few weeks, i was just wondering why my friends can stall 1500+ with out the tires spining and as soon as my car see 1100 the tires are slowly starting to turn, and no its not the tires cause we have switched at the track before with the same results. I just figured mine was fucked up or something.
