Default fuddle stall

I just got my fuddle 3600 2.2 str stall today, i looked at it and it is a lot smaller than my old yank 2800 that i sold. is that normal of a higher stall or are fuddle stalls just smaller than the other companies. and also there is a rattle in the converter, so i wanted to know if anyone else has hade this, or has my converter been damaged, maybe in the shipment?

its probably a 245mm converter versus your yank 285 mm one. all things considered a small convertor will be more efficient at higher stall ratings. its a good unitl

i thought that it would be fine, but im more worried about the rattle that i hear when i move it, just tilting it from side to side it rattles, could it be damaged or are fuddle converters just kind of loose

The smaller size is the 245mm design. It is likely the most common size for high quality and effecient performance converters. The noise you are hearing is the internal components moving. The design of a torque converter has independantly moving parts that are powered by fluid movenent. Hearing moving parts inside is expected. The worry would be if you didn't.

ok thanks john, i never heard that in my other converter, but it had some fluid in it that might be the reason.
