I've heard that he started his own tranny business. Anyone have any more info on this? Does anyone have his contact info (phone & email)?

Yep!
I just got my 4L65E "Stage 5" back from him about a week ago.
I spoke with Chuck about his move.
He said that FLP was moving locations and he wanted to break off on his on anyways.
So, this was the perfect time to do so. Not to mention that he's still close to his own
home and still builds for FLP. His tranny information is still on FLPs website.

Chucks ph # is (630) 350-7776
He's just now getting a few hands to work for him so
business will be picking up quickly. If he doesn't answer leave a messege
He's probably in the shop area working. He's good about calling you back.
Hope this helps.

Chuck no longer works for FLP directly. Back in the spring he left to start his own transmission business, Finish Line Transmission. He still does all our transmission work he just doesnt work for us. He can be reached at 630-350-7776 or his temporary email is transtech@comcast.net . His website is www.finishlinetrans.com but it is still in the construction stages.

Where is FLP moving to ?
I had Chuck rebuild a 700R4 in my 92 Z28 way back when he was starting out there with Ed who I don't believe is there anymore either. At the time Chuck was doing trans and Ed exhaust, this was before it became FLP. Chuck's a great guy and does excellent work. Good to see he is going off on his own even though it's someplace else.
