Help needed....did search I tried searching but nothing fit my problem. Maybe I'm just searching wrong...anyway. I left Lowe's and start down the feeder. At about 25 or 30 mph I get on it to get around a few cars and get on the freeway. The tranny downshifts and then I get a bang/pop metallic sound. The revs then go really high. So I slow down and ease over to a side street where I stop. I try taking off and the car won't shift out of first and there is no reverse.
I know the tranny is now probably toast but just need some ideas. I'm gonna call my warranty service tomorrow and have it towed in.
