Default Going to a TH350?

I'm thinking about swapping my m6 for a built TH350. Best ET I could get out of the m6 was a 12.2. How much could I cut off my et by going to a TH350 w/ trans brake?

I don't know about you, but I went from a 6.82 in the eighth to a 6.61 after going to a th-400. My n/a times improved to, went from a 7.55 to a 7.48 and I havn't really been out enough to get my times improved. I think I could see 6.5's easy and some 7.3's. Most of your improvement will come with your choice of converters. I would get a 4000+ stall if I was you.

I cut .3 off yesterday off the foot brake. I am having a small issue with fitting 28" ET Drags. They were rubbing and I did not launc off the T Brake. Just 1800 rpm footbrake launches. Once that is done I expect to see at least another .2 - .4 off my best M6 ET.

Believe it or not, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I was hoping to be able to cut at least 3/10's off. The car should run a 11.90 based on a 393 rwhp. The difference must be the transmission.

Thanks

i went to a th-400 trans, off idle i cut down my e.t. by 3 tenths. then i took some weight out of the car and the thing just flies now - but that's another story. i LOVE driving the th400 trans, so if you got your heart set on a th350 then i say GO FOR IT.

Expect to loose 30 - 40 HP or more on the dyno with a TH350. It's not like you are really loosing the HP but the converter and trans will not show it on the dyno. One reason is you will not be able to lock the converter.

Just getting you ready for that little fact of life. If you are a dyno queen racer you will be dissapointed. If you are a track proof person you will love it.

As long as the track times improve thats all I care about. Dyno numbers don't win races
