4L60E Interceptor - crap or good product?
I was just looking through http://www.4l60-e.com/#Torque%20Converters and saw the following:
4L60E Interceptor - Plugs into the wiring harness and controls transmission shift feel and torque converter clutch apply timing. It's like a power chip for electronic transmissions. Eliminates the need to install complicated shift kits. Improves shift quality by adjusting transmission shift feel. It turns the pressure up across the board. Helps reduce burned clutches. Eliminates torque converter clutch shudder. Works great for towing in overdrive. Plug in installation. Cost $124.00
Anyone ever heard anything about this??? I am leaning more towards a shift kit and tuning, but I thought I would research this first. Thanks.

While researching, the transmission shops that had experience w/ this indicated to me that a wake up kit is a much better solution. A wake up kit has a boost valve, intermediate servo, & over drive servo. Haven't installed mine yet. Will install over the winter. For me, the interceptor was not worth buying.
