Just a couple quick questions on buying a used tranny for my 95Z. (It's about all I can afford) Anyway the tranny I'm looking at is from a 96, it looks visibly OK from the outside besides been dirty. Should the rear main shaft move side to side at all? This one does a little bit when I wiggle it. And I swear when I had the driveshaft out about a week ago the shaft had one spline that was wide (a locating spline?) and this trannys spline are all the same. No wide one, whats up with that? Is there anything else I should look for?
