Fuddle or TCI whats the difference?
Its not an off the sheld unit,Its there custom built unit
Keving took 1/2 with me and helped me with the decision,He recommended his better LU clucth and his Billet cover..My verter stalls slightly higher than I wanted (ask for 3000 got 3200)not biggie..It locks up at 48MPH and stays locked up and uncouples under throttle perfectly,No chatter of anykind...I did ask for a 2.2 STR but who knows for sure...This week I added a Trans go and it helped a bit but I still need alittle more trans tuning as its alittle bit too loose for my liking,I think I need some part throttle shift help..I love the TCI and I paid under 600 to my door for it with the extra upgrades...
The story on this converter:
We were notified about this problem by the shop installing it. The usual approach taken by companies in this industry is to have the customer send the converter back, repair it while the customer waits and return it to the customer. Instead, we agreed to build a new converter and it was shipped the next day. We were specifically told by the installing shop not to worry about expressing the shipping as the car had already been moved and was not sole transportation for the customer. We had a new converter built and shipped the next morning. Not only were we not asked to express shipping, it was recommended that we didn’t.
This converter was replaced because we made a mistake. While there is certainly no legal liability, on a moral and ethical level we felt a responsibility to compensate the customer for our mistake. Not only did we cover the cost of the re-installation, we also compensated the customer for USPS ground shipping to get the converter back to us. The customer has received payment.
As I spoke with this customer today, I believe at this point he is happy. If he is not, he will be taken care of. My goal is for Fuddle to maintain a 100% satisfaction record and this is how it is done.
