Default Tranny Cooler and Lines...

I'm going to go alittle over kill with my tranny cool lines. I'm looking at running A/N fittings and braided S/S line. Has anyone that has a TC run s/s lines or A/N fittings? Also anyone that has a tranny cooler on a GTO, what cooler did you go with and how long are the lines that you ran from the cooler to the tranny?

Also can someone PM me the info on Pro-Built Automatics, I want to get one of their modded Trans-Go shift kits. Anyone that has one, how do you like it as well.

Biondo, found in Jeg's/Summit under the transmission section, has a nice high pressure quick-release fitting set. Not sure it will screw into the 4L60E, but I plan on getting something like it for my TH350.

I just did a 4L60E swap , used 18' of -6 AN , 2- strait fittings , and 2-90 deg. fittings. The trans uses a 1/4 x -6 AN fitting , Good Luck

If the trans uses 1/4" NPT, why would use -6 line? Wouldn't a -4 be appropriate size and more cost effective? Just asking, as I thought -4 was 1/4 and -6 is 3/8".

i used hard line tubing for my cooler lines(two 5' sections). It was a bitch to bend the lines up but it pays off in the end since theye are just metal tubing they act as little mini coolers.
no rubber hoses or SS braided lines to keep in the heat here.
