M6 to A4 questions
M6 to A4 questions I just ordered a 4L70, I have a few questions. Do the A4 cars have a block off plate where the 6-speed shifter hole is? I obviously need something to cover the hole. I have been thinking about the standard Hurst QuarterStick for a shifter, I got a reverse manual, so I need something that will work with that.

I am using the B&M hammer shifter, and the stock console with the shifter boot will still be on it, so it will look like a 6-speed with a different ****....
You should be able to use the same console

Re: M6 to A4 questions There was some pretty good pics of the install that macgyver did on here with his t-56 to th400 swap...the shifters usually take up all the space...and then he fabricated something for the shifter to sit on
