The SS4000E has a larger clutch plate with a very aggressive Lining and a special cover with 6 bolts that has improved stiffness in areas that take the most abuse, when a power added like NOS is used
it also has thicker blades in the pump and turbine and state of the art heatreating on the internal parts

My SS4000 held in the 5400 rpm range down a couple hundred from YTP 4200.
Rolling: Keep the 3.23s and raise those part throttle shift points, especially 2-3 and 3-2. Using second gear a little longer takes some of the slop out.

I'm glad you like it!! I installed my Yank SS3800 a few weeks ago and I have to admit I was a bit annoyed at the looseness, now after a few weeks driving it, I honestly can say that i'm so used to it I wondered if I should have gotten the SS4000 LOL!! BTW, this is the 1st stalled auto I have ever driven, so I was by no means used to any of this!
