Anyone ever have the rear planetary set in their 4L60E overheat and break the pinion? I just had some tranny trouble and upon disassembly it looked like the planetary overheated. The Royal Purple fluid took the heat and kept everything else alive, but it seems like the valve body was clogged with clutch material restricting oil flow. I did a search and couldn't find anything like this happening before.
