Default GM deep trans pan?

I have a deep tranny pan, aluminum with fins, it was installed by my tranny guy and I somehow now have a huge crack in it. I have a couple questions:

Has anyone used or seen this pan before? Its apparently a GM part.
Its cast aluminum, can it be welded?
If anyone is familiar with it, does it use a stock filter setup? Could I replace it with the TCI pan? The TCI pan uses a stock filter arrangement, correct?

Thanks!

Not sure about the Gm pan.

The TCI pan does use the stock filter.I think you can grind the ridges in it and use the deep truck filter if you want.If your cars lowered you might not want to get the TCI pan.Its the lowest part of my car now.I'm lowered about 1 1/2"'s.I know a few people who bought it and took it back off.I've scrapped mine acouple of times, but barely. You just need to be real careful.
