I have a broken tranny.The bell housing has a big crack in it.The second gear band is gone ect ect.I think instead of overhauling the existing I would like to get a rock on tranny.This car is a 2002 Camaro Z28.4L60E tranny.This is the second transmission this car has eaten that i know of!I just got the car & know this is the second because i know its been out of the car.They didnt do a very good install(left dust cover off)& did not bolt down the dipstick.Anyhow a local trans shop tells me the computer controls the pressure goin to the trans lines.Also the TPS has something to do with line pressure.If i slam another tranny in with out getting this checked itll probably burn it up also.I guess im stuck having the local trans shop checking this out>???Is there another way to see if the computer is functioning properly?
