Cant get the shifter outta park and the car still can roll.(well be pushed). Anybody have any ideal what this may be? Someone tried to steal the car and I have no ideal what the hell they did. so any help or ideals would be appreciated. Somebody tell me something

 

this might be a dumb question. are you pressing the brake pedal before you remove it from park. i'd check under the dash to see if any wires are destroyed. maybe get underneath it to see if the linkage is fu**ed up also.

 

yea pressin the brake does nothin, and the only thing i see messed up is my turn signal, all the guts in there is messed up
