I have an automatic ram air trans am and I am haveing trouble with it not comeing out of park. No matter how hard I puch down on the brake and try to depress the button it wont go in. can anyone out there help me out?

Verify that it is not a transmission issue by moving the selector arm on the trans. Do this with the car off and secured from rolling, with the cable removed it should rotate easily. If the trans arm can be moved, check the Brake Lock-Out solenoid inside the center console, ensure it is getting power when the pedal is depressed. Also make sure the ignition lock cable is allowing the shifter to move freely. Those are the things that would probably not allow you to move the shifter.
