Which kit did u get? What trans-go model/part# kit. They all usually have firmness options,in the form of separator plate hole sizes and accumulator shims.

All you need to do to get neck snapping 1-2 shifts is put all the shim washers in the 2nd accumulator. Drill the second feed to .093, adjust the band right, delete torque management.
You'll have annoying, neck snapping tire chirping shifts.
If you want to really **** yourself off don't put anything in the 2nd accumulator except for the piston and a stack of 3/8" nuts on the pin to block the movement of the piston, you'll hate it 100%.

If you are looking for long life on this unit "do not" add any spacers to the 2nd gear accumulator. This unit should shift smooth at light throttle openings, and the shifts getting firmer with more throttle. It should brake the tires loose from the HP you are putting out and not so much from making the transmission shift hard. Hard shifts at light to medium throttle openings, are not necessary & hard on the driveline all around, and can be dangerous, besides your women would hate it.

Miassmaro98,There are a few kits by trans-go for the 700 through 4L60E. the hole size will depend on personal preference and veh. application.

GT Griller,That is an option in HD-2 Trans-Go kits. for 700-R4's and 4L60E's just diff. part # kits for the diff tranny's (electronic or not)

I think the 1-2 firmness opt is "prefer .063,firmer.070" and the 3-4 may be diff than .093, i may be wrong,i did one last week and can't remember for sure. I do know in the shift correction (not perf) kits, most holes are 0.093. lemme know

Those 1-2 shift hole sizes are what they say in the older kits that came with the video. It's the more user friendly kit.

The newer "for professional installation only" type kits such as the 4L60E-HD2-B use totally different hole sizes. I don't know why.

I have the HD2-B kit and the 2nd feed they say to drill to .082, mine was already that size from the factory.
The HD2-B kit basically has you drill all of the selected holes to .093.

The "late" Trans-Go HD2 kits were detuned because of Torque Management. If you get rid of Torque Management, and use a 9.5" torque converter, then you can do much more with this kit to get it to hold up to more horsepower. You can change the 1-2 feed to .096, & leave out the spacers if you want a smooth 1-2 part throttle shift, and firm WOT shift. For the 2-3 .155-.187 works very well for me, and the 3-4 can be .125-.155. .155 will work well for WOT 3-4 shifts. Stay with the Corvette style servo, the billet is overkill & can create problems. I hope this helps.
