Default Choosing a Transmission --- Help

I am stuck on trying to select a transmission for my conversion. I have narrowed it down to 3 but I am not sure what is the best for what I need to get out of my car. (TH700R4, 4L60E, T56)

Right now my 1992 Camaro has a 305TBI, TH700R4(4L60), and 10-Bolt rear with 3.73 gears.

The car will be received an LS1 down the road so the transmission has to work well with that motor.

The problem I have right now is that at 90mph the car is running about 4200rpm. This is not acceptable for a daily driver. I am not sure of the gearing in the transmission right now.

What will give me the performance and a decent cruise rpm? I really need detailed information because this area is confusing me. Thanks!

What do you need to get out of your car? What do you like to do with it?

The car is being driven daily right now. Down the road the car will have a mild street LS1 motor. Here is the plan for the motor for the most part: LS6 conversion, MSD ignition, Headers, cold air intake. I am propably going to have a motor around 450-475hp.

There is a slim chance of a SuperCharger.

As with the motor down the road, the car will be driven less.

Another vote for Rock-On! I have his vacuum modulated stage4 4L60E with the #'s in my sig. Never a problem.

Dave's customer service/quality is second to none!

BTW, my Phoenix T/A is the one pictured on the home page of his site

Do you have that website? I tried to look them up for a website but could not find one. I talked to Dave this morning and he sounds like a great guy. Looks like I will be going with him when I get ready for my tranny.

Searched using Rock-On instead of Rock On.
